Data deletion
Ask us to delete the data we hold about you or your business.
What gets deleted
- Your FluxxChat account, business profile and team members
- Contacts, conversations, templates, campaigns and uploaded media
- Connected WhatsApp and Instagram account details and access tokens, including Instagram messages, comments and profile information we received from Meta
What we must keep
Tax invoices and payment records are kept for the period required by Indian law. They are no longer linked to your messaging data.
Option 1: Disconnect Instagram or WhatsApp yourself
Log in to FluxxChat, open the connection settings and disconnect the account. This removes our access tokens immediately. You can also remove FluxxChat in your Instagram settings under Apps and websites, or in Meta Business Settings. When access is removed through Meta we delete the related Instagram data.
Option 2: Send us a deletion request
Use the form below, or email hello@fluxxchat.com from the address registered on your account. We confirm by email and complete deletion within 30 days.
If you are a customer of a business that messaged you through FluxxChat, reply STOP to that business to opt out, and ask that business to delete your data. We act on the business's instructions as its processor, and we will pass your request on if you write to us.
